Pre/Post Care for Paramedical Treatments

Prior to a Microdermabrasion or peeling treatment for the best outcome & minimised risk, we recommend all clients to use Ultraceuticals homecare, for at least 2 weeks.
For Lactic, Vitapeel & BHA Peels, Even Skintone Serum or Ultra Brightening Serum must be used for a minimum of 2 weeks prior to treatment.
The daily use of Ultra Protective Daily Moisturiser SPF 30+ is mandatory to protect against heightened photosensitivity.
No waxing for 5 days prior to peel or microdermabrasion treatment.
No injectables for 72hrs prior to any peel treatment or microdermabrasion treatment.
No IPL or laser treatments for 14 days prior to any peel or microdermabrasion treatment.
No Retinoic Acid prescription Vitamin A), Retinol including Ultra A Skin Perfecting range is to be used for 48 hours prior to a peel or microdermabrasion treatment.

NB – If you are experiencing excessive swelling please consult your skincare professional.

Apply moisturiser (skin is best to remain moist during this time).
Do not use products containing AHA’s, BHA’s and Vitamin A (Retinol) Astringents or exfoliating granules.
Do not exfoliate or pick at peeling skin.
Do not expose skin to the sun.
Avoid vigorous exercise , applying excessive heat to the treated area including saunas, steam baths & hot showers or chlorinated & saltwater pools for 48 hours following your treatment.
Avoid waxing, IPL, laser or depilatory creams for 2 weeks following your treatment.
